I met my wife in a hot tub...

in Frisco, Colorado while her family was on vacation. Yup, true story. I chatted with her parents about the snow conditions first, then she walked in. Heyo! Her family was giving her a hard time about training for a marathon and I mentioned I ran as well. Our first few dates were running dates. After an April fools day first date, I never wanted to be with anyone else.

I am a sap at heart...

and witnessing love between two people is definitely an amazing thing I enjoy capturing because I know photos help us remember the special times.

I love adventure...

and getting outside with some trail shoes, backcountry skis, or on my mountain bike is my form of meditation. New places invigorate me and exploring new views and trails is refreshing.

My little girl is my world...

She's crawling, squawking, terrorizing our dog, and knows how to high five at 7 months. She's already daring and smiles so much my heart hurts.

My dog is a nutball...

and although she is a rescue and a bit nervous, her personality is shining through as she gets comfortable with her spoiled life of morning runs, backpacking trips, and backcountry skiing.

I grew up in Maryland,

but I got to Colorado as fast as I could (yeah, I borrowed that from a bumper sticker). When my parents introduced me to skiing at a young age, I always dreamed of skiing and exploring Colorado. I moved to our great state in 2009 and never looked back.

Positivity is...

infectious and paying someone a compliment, even a small one, is a simple way of brightening someone's day. Paying it forward, being a man of my word, and general kindness are some of the things I live by every day.
